【Volunteering with a Shine: Car Wax Activity at a Senior Care Center】

On Friday, May 30, 2025, our CSR team and other Newport volunteers visited Pearl Social Welfare Corporation for a special volunteer activity using our car wax product FW1.

At Newport, our mission is simple: “Spread more smiles.” We’ve been putting that into action through various volunteer efforts at senior care facilities. This time, we focused on the people behind the wheel. To show appreciation for the dedicated drivers who transport facility users every day, we offered a full wax treatment for their shuttle buses.

Rain? No problem!

Despite the rainy weather, the event went off without a hitch thanks to a covered garage at the facility. With two team members assigned to each vehicle, we polished up four vans with care and attention. Even our CEO Kevin rolled up his sleeves and joined in.

Seeing is believing: the FW1 effect

The transformation was hard to miss! Each van gleamed noticeably more after waxing. We received kind words and impressed reactions from the staff and drivers, and we were thrilled to see FW1’s power in action. It was a moment of pride for our team to share a product that really delivers.

Keeping the smiles going

If this small gesture helped lighten the load for those supporting the community day in and day out, we couldn’t be happier. We’ll continue looking for ways to create more smiles, one polish, project, and person at a time.
