Hello from the Newport CSR Team!
On March 26th, we held our first volunteer activity of 2024 at the Harajuku no Oka senior care center.
We were thinking about what we could do give back in Shibuya Ward as a local company, and we came up with the idea to brighten the days of some senior citizens with help of Shibuya Ward officials.
At such an iconically fashionable neighborhood like Harajuku, the theme of our event was to use Incoco nail sheets to bring some smiles to the folks enjoying their time at the care center!
We made sure to help seniors place their Incoco nail sheets just right so they don't cover their cuticles. That could make the sheets dry out a bit and peel off!
We spent two hours with the smiles from the over dozen lovely ladies who participated!
"I'm so happy! I've never had such a beautiful manicure!" said one participant!
"I'll show off to my grandchildren!" said another!
It was a great first experience at Harajuku no Oka, and we plan on visiting again to spread more joy!
